New Care Quality Commission web form for local representative groups launched, 1st December 2009
You can now send us your evidence on local experiences and views of health and social care
We are pleased to tell you that our new web form is now live at www.cqc.org.uk/localvoices The web pages provide background information and a form with some structured questions to help your organisation, committee or group feed evidence and information about local views into the Care Quality Commission's assessments of services.
The web form is for Local Involvement Networks, Overview and Scrutiny Committees, Foundation Trust Boards of Governors, Learning Disability Partnership Boards, Local Safeguarding Children Boards and also local voluntary organisations.
We recommend you download the printable version of the form to help your organisation, committee or group decide on the information you wish to send. It is not possible to save a draft of the form. We will send you an email to confirm we have received your evidence and a summary of the information you have submitted.
We would like to remind you that we have produced guidance to help you take part in our assessments this year. It is called Voices into Action: Your part in our assessment of health and adult social care in 2009-10. There is a link to this guidance, in standard and easy read formats, at the website address above.
We will be updating the guidance in the New Year to include answers to frequently asked questions and to tell you more about CQC assessments in 2010 including commissioner assessment.
We hope you find the web form easy to use. If you have problems or suggestions for improving it, please let us know in the section at the end of the form.
